“The way in which I act, dress, behave, etc. will be respectful and will take account of the viewpoints of others at the university of applied sciences. This means that I will dress in an appropriate manner for the school and profession for which I am being trained.”
We at the Willem de Kooning Academy weren't too happy with this rule and therefore started a lookbook to show different outfits that are visible within the school. We researched what outfits fit each major by handing out several questionnaires. Based on this information we collected as many clothes we could find and assembled outfits. The results show clear diversity in style and we think that should be celebrated rather than regulated.
