Zwartrijder: translation: Fine evasion rider. = someone who uses public transport without paying for a ticket.
Problem: Public transport prices has increased drastically over the last 10 years in the Netherlands.
Insight: Fine evasion riders often travel alone or in small groups.
Solution: We created a community for fine evasion riders. In this community people work together to avoid fines given by conductors. However, in order for you to join this community you will have to pay a monthly fee. This money goes to the shared piggybank of the community. Why a shared piggybank for the community? In case someone gets caught a fined! The piggybank works as an insurance to cover up the fines. This means that the better the community performs, the lower this monthly fee will be.

To recruit new members of the community we also created our own portable WIFI router that train travelers can connect to. In order to stay of the grid we took the same name and design of the real WIFI of the Nationale Spoorwegen. However, you'll be hit with some critical information about Railrunners once you connect to our WIFI
